Hi! So I had this cutting of this string of pearls and I water propagated it which went great, it had new roots and was growing new pearls. I left it for a few weeks until the roots were about 1-2 inches long and then I potted it in a succulent soil mixed with perlite as I read was good for string of pearls.

I got this little bathtub planter because I wanted something small enough for it. The planter has 3 drainage holes at the bottom. I only water when the soil is completely dry. Right now where i live temps get to around 100-105F during the day. I put it in the same spot it was when it was propagating which is in front of an east facing window that receives direct light and indirect light as it is somewhat blocked by a tree.

As you can see the pearls still look nice and round, but since I've planted it about a month ago it hasn't grown any new pearls at all 🙁 the growth at the end is exactly the same size as when I pulled it from it's little propagation jar.

Is there something more I should be doing? Maybe get some fertilizer? A brighter light? I could put it in a south facing window, but it is direct light since there is no shade in front of that window and I worry with how hot it is here that the leaves will scorch. Any advice? Thanks! I'm new to plants so I'll take all the help i can get!

In their natural habitat, they creep along the ground and lay down roots all along the length of the vine and grow a dense mat of foliage. I have a guide for recreating that [here](https://imgur.com/a/KANy4O4). You can still create a trailing plant at the same time, but it’ll be much better established with so many points for root and shoot growth.

edit: I forgot to add that you have done a very good job of planting this. You have basically started what I detail in the link. I think that you’re light is good. Adding the elements of droplets of water along the length of the vine will take it to the next level.
