Hosted by Dobbies Garden Centres at their Cadnam store, the workshop aims to offer top tips for growing your own flowers, fruit, and veg on August 2 and 6 at 10.30am and 3.30pm.
The event is part of Dobbies’ efforts to encourage people to make the most of their outdoor spaces.
Topics to be discussed include seed planting, composting, and growing potatoes in time for Christmas dinner.
There will also be a Q&A section.
Dobbies’ plant buyer, Nigel Lawton, said: “Growing flowers, vegetables, and fruit from scratch is a rewarding process.
“Even if you are new to gardening, it can be surprisingly easy to get started, but it’s always nice to hear some top tips to broaden your knowledge.
“Now is the perfect time to plant potatoes to have ready to tuck into just in time for Christmas dinner.”
