Hummingbird clearwings are my favorite insect to see around – next to dragonflies. I try to keep invasive plants at bay so the bee balm has space.

    I feel the need to add: “meadow shrimp” is not an actual common name. I just made that up.

    This is the snowberry clearwing, a hummingbird clearwing would have white front legs and a more reddish, as opposed to black, coloration
