ORANGE CITY, Iowa — Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is offering Master Gardener Volunteer training beginning Sept. 2.
The 10-week course includes online presentations that cover 17 horticulture topics, assignments from a comprehensive resource guide and face-to-face sessions. The training includes five in-person sessions to give trainees and the public a chance to dig deeper into hands-on horticulture.
While attendance isn’t required, the sessions provide valuable opportunities to explore gardening topics through interactive learning and real-world demonstrations.
Registration is open July 14 through Aug. 22. Classes begin Sept. 2.
