  1. Doesn’t it feel like eight hour days have been cut into four? time is absolutely flying by. I feel like the days have been cut in half.

  2. I have more rain in PA than I need! I have a natural spring on my property and it is so saturated that I now have a pond basically in my yard… I do not like the humidity we have been having

  3. Kaye if you know anyone with chickens, they would probly LOVE to come take all those extra berries off your hands. I feed my chickens ALL the extras & scraps.

  4. Since we have to water daily for
Months in San Diego, I grow much smaller garden that I can manage with a little help No rain for months

  5. I am feeling well but I have had a bout with skin cancer. The first thing the dermatologist told me of course was stay out of the Sun. But I believe you need the Sun for Vitamin D production and other health benefits.

  6. I feel your fatigue. My garden for the most part was a loss as well. Weeds, bugs. the only thing that did well was my tame blackberries. Just overwhelming these days. Plus we had to paint our house this past spring so things got in late. I am older too. I have accepted that we do what we can. I read today that Bill Gates has been approved for spraying his (APEEL) now on organic foods. Very disappointing. A lot of work still to do. I am tired just thinking about it. Hang in and do what you can. That is all we can do right?

  7. Don't feel alone, I have so much in the garden and flowers, plus the herbs. Very overwhelming this year. Plus here we have had a lot of rain and we are usually dry this time of year. I am with you. Just so much to do and its rainy, humid and hot. 🤷‍♀️

  8. My garden is doing great, my 2nd year for this garden in Maine. My cukes are taking over as well and it is time to dig my garlic up the cure and store, The cukes are going everywhere and taking over. Picked my first 3 this morning. Lunch is on, cuke sandwich on the menu.

  9. I understand your frustrations with the soaker hose. I usually have mine going by this time of year but when i went to set it up last month the pressure regulator was shooting water out of its side. Took a while to get a replacement for that and finally went out yesterday only to have it now leaking from the main connection at the spiggot. It was too hot to stay out any longer so i put it off again and just have to continue hand watering again

  10. Great talk Kaye in the beautiful setting of your gardens. Nature is fickle and may not perform when needed or provide too much in wrong places. I've cut way back on what I grow just because my energy levels are going down each year to keep up with it all. If I lose too many plants/produce, then I note to cut back next year on starts. Hope you get some rains soon and get to visit your granddaughter too if possible. Blessings always…
