Anyone know what this is? Its growing very fast in front of my house.

Hi all! I'm hoping for some help. As a recent move-in to our home in Northern New Jersey, we're sorting out the landscaping. I'm planning to remove a suspected Ash tree that's way too close to the house, and these bushes are right next to it. I'm not sure what they are, but they don't seem to fit with the rest of our yard. Before I decide to take them out with the tree, could anyone help me identify them? Thank you!
