Hi Guys
I would like to show you the possess of building a concrete sleeper retaining wall and side pathway in this video.

[Music] ah hey hey [Music] good morning guys we come to the new project is a concrete slipper retaining wall with a steel post i want to show you of the retaining wall first we need to remove the existing timber retaining wall as you can see it’s flap to the side and then we need to take more soil to make it pathway wider because that we have a excavator to dig it more and make it wider through it comes from to a sleeper then coming to 1 m height at the end and 45° then going there the first step is taking the rubbish off existing timber off and take the soil as well we order a mixed escape bean then we add the timber and the soil together will be more expensive but that’s better to have different bean for the soil or truck coming for the soil and the other rubbish as well it’s faster this is the last job in 2024 so guys we’re back to the job we done excavation and we cut it back to the fence side but we leave a space to hold the post from the concrete if we dig more maybe following the fence and it’s going down we take some soil for back fill on top of the wall and then going through we order a 2 m long concrete slipper 75 by 200 and also the galvanized steel post is 100 uh mm that’s a galvanized steel post some part we have 1 m long and this is 1.6 height 600 going down and concreted to the ground and 1 m will be on top to hold the slippers and that’s a concrete slipper 75 by 200 that’s a a smooth gray so what’s the next step we have to run the string line to the for the wall and then we digging hole every 2 m to install the post first we need to install the last one and first one then running through as the same line and make a measurement same from the fence to the line so guys after the setting the we set the line 600 from the fence and that will be 100 for the post and the sleeper will be 500 behind the um retaining wall 500 for the garden all the way and then we set the line i’m coming 200 down for the first slipper and then run and level and we did the level at the end so we mark it every 20 cm two check by 20 going down to 20 60 and 80 then it’s all going through then we mixing concrete level it i measure 2 m long and then mark it on the line we have once 10 mil gap between the slipper to be easy to set in then we check the level in in the that in that direction and also in this direction as well to check it and make it level okay for now before setting this post needs to be go a little bit that way and then leave it to set yeah that’s good now and touching the line this is the first slipper on top and then second one going through we digging by the dig hole machine going 600 deep to the ground then later we wash and clean the post also we mark it 1 m line here should make sure not filling up more than this line otherwise it will be hard to install the first slipper on the ground later when we set it just adding some more concrete to level it up and find it where is it [Music] heat [Music] heat heat heat [Music] i love [Music] you heat heat [Music] heat [Music] heat heat heat [Music] heat heat [Music]
