I saw this beautiful plant and according to a google image search, it’s a euphorbia atropurpurea. Is that correct? This homeowner had 3-4 of them in the front yard, all around 3-5 feet tall maybe, and they were gorgeous.
Anyone know where I can purchase one? I’m in Southern California if that makes a difference. Thank you!

That is indeed a atropurpurea. It even has the same flowers, which in your picture have been dried up.
It’s a euphorbia! I’m not super familiar with E atropurpurea but they seem to have red flowers usually, but there’s another form with yellow flowers, f. lutea; I know most of these ones are already dried and brown but some look alive and yellow.
I’m sure there’s people who know much more than I do who will weigh in though.
They may be available at local nurseries, especially if they thrive outside where you live 🙂
It’s Euphorbia lambii.
