Annual Garden Tour a display of hard work and bountiful results.

How do Grand Forks’ gardens grow? Depending on which ones people visited, they were bountiful food gardens, peaceful orchards, lively flower and shrub sanctuaries, or all the above for the annual Garden Tour on July 13. Curious visitors endured soaring temperatures to take in the hard work of homeowners and volunteers at seven locations in a self-guided tour of different properties, from the Community Garden, to private acreages on the edges of the city limits and smaller, but well-manicured private gardens. All the while property owners and caretakers were happy to give tours and talk about what they’ve learned about caring for and growing their gardens.
