Young explorers are invited to step back in time and discover the ancient world of dinosaurs and prehistoric plants.
Dobbies Garden Centre in Swindon will host a free, dinosaur-themed event for children at its Little Seedlings Club on Sunday, August 3.
Aimed at children aged four to 10, the session will introduce them to prehistoric plants and the dinosaurs that once roamed the earth.
Ayesha Nickson, events programme manager at Dobbies, said: “Our Prehistoric Plants workshop is a very exciting opportunity for children to show and share their love for dinosaurs while learning more about plants.

“The activities that the children can take part in are a great way to discover and explore the world of prehistoric plants, and the crafts allow the fun to carry on at home.”
The session will begin with an introduction to dinosaurs from different time periods, followed by a look at ancient plants that still grow in modern gardens.
Children will also have the chance to play themed games and create their own fossil to take home.
Ms Nickson said Dobbies is a welcoming place for families, whether they are attending the free workshop, enjoying the soft play area, or relaxing in the restaurant.
