As others have said. Don’t mow when it’s wet.
PonyPounderer
As a PNW mower I can tell you that it’s too wet, and also that if it’s raining all the time there isn’t a good way to deal with needing to mow. I’ll go weeks without it being dry enough for a mow, and then the grass is stupid long so I cut more than a 1/3 of the grass. It doesn’t like it, but it does recover just fine.
Best of luck!

Thanks for the quick feedback guys! So I understand it’s too wet now.
How do I mow more often when it’s dry when it’s been raining every other day? Appreciate all the help!
TheCharlieTour
Mowing wet. Better clean than every single time lol

Cutting while it’s wet… if you need to cut it and it’s still wet use a blower first to help it dry.

Are you cutting it while the sprinklers are running?
Craiss
There isn’t a good way other than waiting for the grass to dry.
I’ve tried all sorts of things, with the most successful being spraying a layer of PTFE lube under the mower, which is to say I got an extra 10 minutes of mowing before noticing that it was caked up in there again.

Evrery1 is sayjng wet, which defintly is some of it but anothet part is its lots of weeds and weed grasses very litle grass. Crab grass will do this in 90+ bone dry eviroment.

Apparently God doesn’t just hate trailers which he manifests by sending tornados, he clearly hates trailer park lawn mowers by sending dew.
Glittering_Lights
Chopped up grass will usually be a bit wet unless you’re cutting when it’s crispy. I believe a recommended practice is to clean this stuff off your mower deck each time you mow. Some riding mowers have a port that you can connect a hose to to clean it. I found it has to run for a few minutes if I’m using the port to clean the deck underside.

Yeah, but sometimes you don’t have a choice. We have had such a wet summer with so much rain.
I have mowed when it was wet because I got 1.5 day of no rain before more rain is coming.
Looks like you have an Ego. I pull the battery and spray the under deck with a hose.

Too wet to mow but if you must mow then you side discharge, don’t mulch because you’re going to clog up.

I don’t see anyone saying it, so I’ll point out that it’s likely too wet.

In addition to whatever everyone else said about it being too wet, I always coat mine twice a year with Fluid Film. Smells pretty bad but helps to keep grass from sticking and also prevents it from rusting.

Cut later in the day. Walk the grass – if your shoes are wet, it’s too wet to mow.
