Purple, gold, and fire-red — today’s harvest came through vibrant. Indigo Rose, Sungold, and The Purple Tomato, plus some cured Thai Fire Garlic cleaned up and packed for my mother-in-law. Organic, homegrown, and full of flavor. If you needed a little harvest inspo, this is it. #todaysharvest #gardenharvest #harvestbasket #gardeninspo #gardeninspiration
I’m headed over to my in-laws. So, let’s make a harvest basket for my mother-in-law. Starting off with some sunolds. Normally, I like to harvest my tomatoes when they’re just starting to ripen, but given how sweet these are, they’re best when they’re fully ripened on the vine. Got a few more. One right in there. Delicious. Got a ton over here on this plant. And no wormholes, so that’s a huge win. Lovely. That’s the last of the sunolds. Absolutely delicious. These are a little bit funny because they start super purple and as they ripen they get that red and lose a bit of their purple, but the more exposure to sunlight they have, the more purple they will stay in the end. But they’re not a all the way through purple tomato, though we will get to a few of those. Lovely. Now, we’ve got my beloved and nutrientrich the purple tomatoes. When they’re just picked right off the vine, they can sometimes appear just a little bit brown, but as soon as these get sliced open, they are a deep and beautiful rich purple. And now to close things out, I’m going to give her some of my delicious garlic stash. Here it is all uncut. And then here it is all cleaned up in the basket. Just look at that mixture of summer and fall abundance. Beautiful.

“Basket” this was a tiny box of garlic and tiny tomatoes 😂😂😂😂 it would had cost less to get them at the store tbh
Will you share some tips on the gardening 😻
Also your voice is amazing
Dang what a great son.in law. I hope she appreciates you.
If you rinse your garlic off right after picking and before drying, you’ll have less dirt, and less places for moisture to hide that will accelerate your garlic to potentially rot faster.
Is that mold on the basket?
You must be her favorite son-in-law!!
This is a sweet video.
Great job sonny!
Tomato have not enough potassium and other minerals. Leaves are not straight . They are not good, definitely not sweet enough…
Very sweet! I noticed mother in law though, and I haven’t seen any hx, but if mom is around, please remember her, as well. I am sure your in laws appreciate you! So thoughtful!🥰
