The plant defo has thrips, but is this what’s causing the stem and leaves to turn black like this? A few of my other plants have thrips atm (treating all with neem oil) but not reacting like this.
This is actually my work plant. She gets loads of light and is well watered (I am careful not to overwater, I know this could be stem rot but I really don’t think that’s the case from my watering habits). Another explanation I can think of is We’ve had the air con on recently as it’s been super hot, could that be it?

im genuinely baffled as to what could have caused this as i havent seen damage like this before, but im gonna follow this post to find out too!
Is that stem black? It’s looking bacterial?

I’m a newb so take this with a grain of salt; I sunburned mine and it did not look anything like this and didn’t affect the stem…
