So the contractor agreed he should have showed me the blocks first and agreed to re do it using a double faced block. The additional cost was $1k- bringing the project total to $5k. For this price he also re routed a gutter under my patio. (The walkway was reclaimed stone from my old walkway in the front- I know it’s not perfect but doesn’t job).
