Even though the gardening season is fully under way, we are planting loads of things in the garden. Here is everything we are planting right now.

  1. I am watching and I agree with your ideas of planting a second round of tomatoes and I love okra because it so beautiful when the flowers appear. I like turnip s and I yet to be successful with kohlrabi… thank you for all you do!!!

  2. I’m excited because even though I’ve been gardening since 2019, and have had plenty of success with the easy crops like beans and tomatoes and potatoes and peas, I’ve failed at growing a Halloween Jack o Lantern every year. …except this year I think I’ve figured out what I had been doing wrong. I just put in my pumpkin seeds yesterday, in a slightly different way, and I think this year will finally be the year.

  3. I'm in Michigan too, I didn't do any tomato seedlings in June but I have some Roma's growing that are flowering right now. Can I take cuttings to start new crops for the fall? Do you think that will work?

  4. Thank you for this information, Luke! I have been wondering what I can start from seed in the raised bed that I had garlic growing in. The seeds I got from you this year all germinated very well, by the way!

  5. This is the first year I tried a second seeding of cucumbers (looking GREAT!) and basil (Large Leaf Italian). I am curious if the basil will try to run in the heat of August (earlier crop already shot up in the week of 90 degree heat we had last week of June). We will see!!

  6. We never thought to plant pumpkins in july, we did on the first and the plants came up really fast and doing great 👍. Thank you Luke, you are doing well 😊

  7. We planted about 2 dozen kohlrabi this spring. Everything grew but not one bulb formed. So sad. Pulled it all out. Going to try again for a fall harvest. Any tips? Maybe further space apart in my raised bed?
Never thought to plant a second harvest of cucumbers… going to try it! Also going to hold out hope for my tiny tomato plants.

  8. In the summer I watch with my seed box next to me! You're the only thing from Xichigan permitted in the house 😂

  9. Watch and share your videos year round, sometimes even when I’m out in my own garden. We see all the garden work you put in, but I’d love to see some videos of the final product. I’d like to see how you make your pickles, can your tomatoes, etc. I love to try new recipes! I don’t know how you survive on just 20 quarts of pickles a year. I can make 100 quarts a year and still run out.

  10. I’m grateful that you still make videos during the summer months. You are very motivating and I love being a part of this gardening community!!

  11. Working in the garden everyday here. I love eatching your videos everytime you put them out. Love it!!! I have learned so much from you every single year. My tomatoes this year are doing so so good. Of course most of them came from yalls seeds. My peppers are doing great. Such a good year for me. Im so excited and happy. Hope yalls does amazing like mine is. Im in Ga zone 7b. All raised beds

  12. Yeah, NO, no okra. It's too slimy. Cilantro tastes like soap, but I just planted round two. I'm trying to get past the soap taste. As always, love your videos. Thanks for teaching me.😊❤

  13. I love kohlrabi and going to sow some more. Also carrots, beetroot and radishes. And kale… all my spring grown starts have been decimated by cabbage butterfly caterpillars.
