Crocus, one of the first flowers to bloom in Spring

It’s a crocus. It only blooms at the beginning of spring. It’s too delicate to survive during the summer. You will only see it for a few days, they don’t last long.

Crocus! I just ordered 150 bulbs to plant in my yard and can’t wait to see them bloom in spring after a long depressing Wisconsin winter!

So pretty! In Alberta on the wild prairies they grow for a week or so and are super cute and fuzzy.

Need to add these to my “bulbs I’m buying in September” list.

Crocus. Crocus sativus is the species that produces saffron.
