A garden party has raised over £1,200 for a children’s defibrillator.
Organised by the Mere Surgery Patient Participation Group, the event was held at St Ann’s, Church Street, Mere, and raised £1,271 for the Mere Surgery Defibrillator Appeal.
The party, which took place from 2pm to 4.30pm, saw musicians perform, and attendees could enjoy cream teas, croquet, boules, a tombola, and a treasure hunt.
Despite early rain, the weather cleared for the event, providing a pleasant atmosphere.
The defibrillator will be for both children and adults.
