today we’re heading to my local Tractor Supply so that you can see what’s in stock here and you don’t have to worry about driving all the way to yours coming up first we had some dormant potted roses at 1gallon pots for $13.99 which is a great value if you’re looking to Spur up your property and add some color they again had some seasonal perennials and annuals but I wanted to head straight over to the trees because that was really why I was going to the Tractor Supply and honestly I was a bit disappointed they had a lot of really great full sun flowering trees that I think will be great if you’re looking to add color and flare to your property they also had a nice crab apple here all the trees were coming in at $9.99 which I do believe is a great value for these trees Lowe’s came in a little bit more expensive in my area at around 50 to $60 per tree depending on the type of tree that you were purchasing and Home Depot coming in at around $69 for a nice fruit tree at around the same size as these Tractor Supply trees so honestly pretty good value although the selection of Tractor Supply was fairly lacking the only fruit trees that they had in these larger pots larger sizes around the four to 5 foot tree was a bunch of apple trees some of which I had never even heard of there was a honey crisp here the quality of the trees was very nice I thought they had a nice strong Center Tree stemming out and they were starting to have some leaves so value-wise really great price if you’re looking for a good apple tree inside was some really great selections this is where you get the smaller trees these are around $14.99 they had a really great selection of different types of peaches here something to think about though is this is a much smaller tree so although you’re only paying around $14 for this it is going to take a lot longer for this to actually get to the fruiting strage where outside you do have those larger trees although they are double or triple the cost they are going to start fruiting a lot earlier they also did have some apples inside these as well so I definitely suggest calling your tractor supply seeing what’s available when I called and asked about these $14.99 ones they actually said oh the sticks yeah let me see if we have those right now so even tractor employees do you know that these are not the greatest in regards to other types of vines and Bush plants they had raspberries grapes blueberries a few different varieties of all of them some raspberries blackberries they had some cherries strawberries and a lot of other items that you could get in order to start your own Fring selections more of these bare root smaller packages some great types of different flowers some really great larger bulb items here that you can get in the ground in the spring and start growing up all at a really good value under around $15 each some of them were around $8 all a little bit different they also had a great selection of some asparagus these were three-year-old asparagus four-year-old asparagus so you can actually get them in the ground and start picking them and eating them asparagus actually can grow up to 40 years and the longer that they’re in the ground the larger you’re going to get they had some great onion selections here I actually just purchased a bunch of onions from Home Depot and I was a little bit sad that I didn’t just purchase them from here as well as some seed potatoes if you are thinking of growing potatoes I definitely suggest growing from seed we have a video coming out shortly about growing potatoes so you’ll definitely want to stay tuned and then of course I could not leave Tractor Supply without checking out the chicks and honestly it’s so hard not to want to purchase another one to add to our Coupe but thankfully I did not purchase anything but maybe later in the season I will
