Hi everyone,
I recently discovered Haworthias and was immediately drawn to their unique shapes and beautiful patterns. I bought a few online, but when they arrived, I noticed some strange spots on them. Could this be a fungus or something else? Has anyone seen this before or knows what might be affecting these Haworthias?
Thanks in advance!

Where ever you got these from don’t shop there anymore and name and shame to save someone else from heartbreak and woes.

Your pictures aren’t clear enough too much blur and out of focus areas. We to see the new growth and top to rule out “aloe mites”but some of the open sores under the plant look like aloe mites which is a disaster.

Also kinda looks like scale, also kinda looks like thrips damage.

Isolate this plant from others start checking over all your plants.

This plant also has no roots and the brown spotting could be rot/fungus/mush from trying to root it on overly wet substrate.

Some of the white crust could be calcium and minerals from your tap water. Also some of the yellow brown dry tissue damage can be from overwatering which causes the plant leaf tissue to swell and tear and it scars like a stretch mark.

Invest in some safer’s end all with permethrin, some bonide systemic-insecticides house plant granules you mix into soil. There are other chemicals available in USA that are good pesticides that you need to rotate through to prevent pests becoming tolerant.

I’d spray these down with pesticide, fungicide, and hydrogen peroxide, maybe even diluted bleach haha. (Separately of course)
