And they were unboxing new plants. This is my first alocasia. I kept looking at it, but told my husband I wouldn't get it as I'm afraid I would kill it. He convinced me to buy it.
I have one that was one of my first Alocasia. She’s in a self watering pot with a grow light and seems to be one of my fastest happiest growers. I love these pots for Alocasia but I can’t find them anywhere anymore.
The tricolors are amazing. Just blame the camouflage. It snuck right into your heart

“Just to look” is how I’ve ended up with half my plants. And 2 dogs as well!

I went semi hydro with mine (sphagnum with Leca base). It’s happily growing. There are several YouTube videos demonstrating this method. Sydney Plant Guy has some good content.
