The drought is bad this year, and I've lost MANY new and established plants already. But those that are doing well are doing very well. Here are some highlights on July 9, 2025:
- Swamp milkweed
- Cup plant
- Hillside, with fleabane, rough oxeye, wild raspberry, fireweed, black walnut and LOTS of goldenrod spp.
- Will raspberry (wild)
- Purple coneflower
- Fireweed
- Yarrow with little visitor (wild)
- Blue vervain (wild)
- White vervain (wild)
- Hoary vervain
- Meadow rue (wild)
- Water hemlock (wild)
- Common milkweed
- Butterfly milkweed
- Rough oxeye
- Greenheaded coneflower
- Boneset
- Wild bergamot
- Hairy beardtongue and fleabane (wild)
- Beebalm (year 2)
