I trimmed mine to like 8 inches long for like three years straight and just poked the nodes back in the pot. It will be fine with a trim.

  2. Its normal.
    There will be growing leafes.

If u Cut it back, another shoot ist coming

No, I’ve actually developed an irrational fear of aerial roots in my plants, similar look lol. I swear one grabbed my hair the other day 😩

This is how they grow. They throw out long runners and eventually foliage grows on them. If you want to help out your hoya get it a trellis

It’s going for the light switch. He’s in charge now.

I have one right above my couch. People always joke that it’s going to strangle them. In some ways I keep it that way just to be funny.

    It’ll be fine:).

I’ve got a Hoya in a hanging pot that I’ve been cutting it back for more than 4 years. It tries to grow *into* my wood paneled ceiling, so when it gets close I cut it back to the leaves again. At the moment, it’s got about another inch to go ✂️. I feel guilty every time though. It worked so hard to get there!

  11. Its looking for somewhere to grab then it will likely put new growth at the end of the runner

if you want to help it along you should grab a hoop trellis that you can wind it around
