What type of tree were the hydrangeas planted around. Thank you!
I agree with something you mentioned in a previous video about the white fence by the new gate with pillars – I can see removing it all the way to where it goes the other direction (bottom of the backwards 'L' if you would). This way it mirrors the openness on the other side and just using some big trees including of course evergreens to make sure people don't try to drive around the fence. I can't wait to see the lights and caps added.
No more whistle music needed!
Impeccable timing, Laura – Thank you for mentioning backing off on water for your strawberries. We’re trying Seascapes in a Greenstalk this year and are having the same issues. I’ll try watering every other day & see if it helps. Thanks for sharing your stunning garden with all of us 😊
What a great idea for the pole barn for storage especially for winter. Can't wait to see the new mail house. It's going to be a cute addition to that area! It's going to look so awesome when everything is finished in the front entrance! It's going to make a real statement before you even enter the property!!❤❤
The bees go crazy for my globe thistle as well. One of my favourite plants in the garden!
Love your videos..can you make a video on how you make your jam.. I’ve never made jam and would love to see how you make it.
You are very fortunate to have the money to create what you have since you are in Ontario, Oregon. Your little farm must be a real bright spot in that town because The times I have been in Ontario it was nothing to write home about. It is in a pretty poor part of Oregon. For you to be able to create what you have with the talent you have somebody had to fed the kitty? Good job
Paradise weather, those temps… that is Hawaii. But we cannot grow apples etc…. so you would hate it, LOL! Love your channel as usual.
What a beautiful property you and Aaron have created. So many decisions were made and I always can’t wait to see if you choose the one I do. What a great channel you have created!
Love your berry and apricot harvest! Jams are a favorite.
Your pillars are awesome too. They are the same color as the brick on my home. They blend with everything.
Enjoy the beautiful weather!
I enjoyed your video!
Do you need a male and female tree to get apricots
So, so beautiful! Stunning 🥰😍! The pillars look so beautiful!
Picnic sounds wonderful! Enjoy! Blessings 💞🙏🏻💞
I'm thinking a few rocks near the front entrance will be perfect. Would love to see Laura & Aaron shop for rockery 🙏🤞😁
OH, THAT FRUIT!!!!!
Do you prune the spent blooms from your lilac? I have done that every year to my Boomerang and I was wondering if really makes a difference. Mine blooms really well, I don't know if it because I prune it. The bigger it gets, the harder it is to cut them all and I was worried it might not bloom as well if I'm not able to find every bloom.
There are 2 channels on YouTube I watch religiously, your channel and Mary at White Cottage and I am always blown away how much you two fit into one day. I think both of you have been blessed by God and I also think you two work HARD!!!! Such a pleasure to watch, thank you.
What a beautiful fruit harvest and so amazing to see it turned into delicious jams to carry you through the year!
Is it too late to consider putting the pillar lights out the top of the cap, like a finial. That way it would illuminate 360 degrees, not just out the front.
The little house for delivery would be nice to be a mini copy of the flower shed, but the flower shed is rectangular not square, bc that way you can place beautiful windows with the door in the middle and have more space for those days when delivery comes with big boxes
Forgive me if you already mentioned it but what kind of strawberries did you plant this year? They are so big. I never have that luck with mine. Love your videos. Such a joy to watch 🙂
Such a great fruit hall and so pretty! Would love to see an update on the fruit plants in the pots by the garden beds.
Every where is looking great,love it x ( u k )
Love your new pillars and your new barn looking good so far .can't wait to see the little shed going up near the pillars and what you plant around it . everywhere is so beautiful and just love the new planting so beautiful.
Hey Laura, I have the seascape strawberry plants, this is their second year. The berries are just not forming up to anything worth eating. What am I doing wrong? I’ve been fertilising every week which I know you don’t do, is that the reason why they’re not making berries? Yours are huge and I’d like some of that action. I’m about ready to give up on these plants. (Lincolnshire UK)
I love watching you harvest all your yummy goodies. It nurtures my soul. Thank you, Laura and Aaron and family for all that you do. Your kindness and joy nurtures us all.
So much fun going on! Your entry is such a lovely estate look now. I would love to know what is the name of the tree that you planted the new hydrangeas around.. love the ragged bark and delicate leaves and lime green color. is it a type of redwood?
What a beautiful and bountiful compound you are creating! What a legacy worth passing down throughout your future generations! ❤❤❤
Have you ever tried a strawberry simple syrup with the tops it’s great added to lemonade or milk for strawberry milk
Wonderful harvest.
To me lantanas aren’t annuals, they get huge if you let them have their full size, they can be like your elderberries full of flowers and pollinators, specially hummingbirds
Where did you first learn about using an auger for planting? Who was the original auger? 😆
I admire every section of your garden but particularly jealous of you strawberry and fruit sections and the harvest ❤
Hi Laura! You planted some indigo girl salvia a few years or so back. I was wondering if you still have any of those on your property and/or how well those did for you. Did you have any issues with them prospering? I’m in zone 6 and was thinking about buying a few. Thanks!
Laura, do you put any organic pesticides on your strawberries? I get these knot like bugs on mine. Also, I have mine in a green stalk and they are not as prolific? Have you found that to be the case as ell??
You’re always so considerate of your neighbors.
Laura, you are amazing. Blessings to you and your entire family.🕊️
I'm so excited for your pole barn!!
QUESTION – you mentioned that you checked with the neighbors regarding constructing it, which is awesome, but what would you do if they were not agreeable?
You guys would be such fun neighbors…yours are very blessed!
Wow it’s been a high stress day 😳, one of those days you think how are you going to get relaxed to even think about getting to tomorrow.
The you see Garden Answers 🥰, this is my balance in life . Thanks so much you even made me feel like eating which is hard at the moment. We are trying to navigate my wifey’s Mom with Dementia, it’s proving way harder than we imagined. But we will get better as we learn caring techniques for this illness.
My time is limited and the joy that refills my heart and soul comes from you , your beautiful family and team .
Take care enjoy the jam 🤗xx xx xx
Those blackberries are beautiful.
Hello Laura & Aaron, I loved your video today. Laura you picking your fruit harvest reminded me of when I was a child and would go out with my grandfather to pick fruit from his garden. He and I also would eat more then what we would bring in from the garden but those memories I will always have of him. My grandfather was like a father to me and I still miss him so incredibly much! Laura those hydrangeas that you planted are those considered a snowball bush? I have wanted to plant several snowball bushes but I can't seem to find any in my area of northern Kentucky. Thank you Laura for all of your beautiful, and informative videos. I've learned so much from you and I truly do appreciate you taking us along on yours and Aaron's garden journey. HeHeHe, my garden is starting to be the envy of all of the neighbors and they ask me my secret to gardening! I just smile and say why its Laura and Aaron who have hellped me out! So thank you so verry much!
Ok, I have a question? You seem to plant quite near trees. How do you do this without disturbing the root system of the trees?
Glory!!! After so much struggles I now own a new house with an influx of $155,000.00 every month God has kept to his words,my family is happy again everything is finally falling into place. God bless America.
❤❤❤❤!
The pokey sharp points on top of the gate are not allowed by law in our area as animals can tragically become impaled on them.
My goodness, are they as big as they look?? They look like peaches!😮
Wait what a pole barn did I miss something
