Building a terrarium for my wife for our anniversary. First one. Everything went together last night. The terrarium soil I bought was bone dry, but I knew not to overdo the watering. So before I planted the little ferns and nerve plants I gave the soil just 4-5 sprays with a basic spray bottle (rain water), mixed it together, added the plants, and sprayed over the plants inside 2-3 times, then closed it up. I'm keeping this in a grow tent under a fairly basic LED grow light until I gift it, 12/12 cycle.

Based on the research I had done leading up to this, it looks like the condensation looks good and the soil looks good? About 1/4" of the top looks wet along the edges. dryish under that. Tried to get a good picture. This is about 18hrs after planting. Been dark in the tent for about 10hrs or so.

Look like too much/too little water to the experts in here?

I have a little humidity sensor coming in tomorrow I plan on dropping in.

Adding moss soon, but that's it.

Sounds pretty perfect but I would probably wipe the glass and then aim the spray at the substrate, it does look a little dehydrated and the condensation would take way too long to absorb into the substrate if you just left it like that
