T caput-medusae in particular REALLY likes airflow. So this isn’t the ideal home for this species. Which is too bad, because they do look like displaced sea creatures and work so well in a terrarium. Having said that, you can make it work with a couple things to keep in mind:
1. Take it OUT of the terrarium for misting and/or dunking and let it dry before putting it back in.
2. Keeping it indoor if you’re going to use a terrarium bowl. Wtch out for the strength of sun coming through the glass.
I had a caput-medusa in a [lovely hanging terrarium](https://ibb.co/rKDXdjMV) and between me misting it in the glass, the sun getting amplified in there, and there being very little air circulating, I basically almost steam roasted my guy. His little bowl buddy, a Tillandsia ionantha, was not as lucky.
