I want to spraying one of these bottles every Monday for the next three weeks. I was also thinking about mixing them all together for a massive weed bomb. The pervious owners neglected the lawn and I can’t stand the sight of it. Time to take action and wipe out the world largest dandelion farm. Keep an eye on the news ‘cus if you see the world’s dandelion and clover population decline you know why.

Next week: Hey my lawn is horribly fucked does anyone know why?
Don’t mix them…each weed type is different enough to need a different herbicide, so it’s best to let them work.
I can’t stop you, but depending on what kind of grass you have, the Round-up and the Ortho sedge killer may also harm good grass…that stuff works better for warm season grasses…
I use #1 at least once a year and have pretty good success with it. PNW
Save some money and just glyphosate the whole thing.
I can’t read the labels off hand, yet I would expect the active ingredients are close to the same. Instead of once every 7 days, maybe do the second one 10-14 days after the first. Watch the day time temps when applying.
Just PLEASE dont go overboard because it ends up runningoff into waterways if its used in excess
Hell yeah! Fuck that grass. Teach it not to grow on this kings property.
One small critique, you won’t kill all the grass this way, it will look like crap and stressed but some won’t die. Better to use glysophate.
That Nutsedge killer doesn’t say it on the bottle, but it also nukes Crabgrass pretty well.
you might not need to make sure all the weeds you have can be controlled by 1 or 2 instead of all three check the labels
if you have any issues with the effectiveness use a different mode or reapply according to the label
Bro wants a yellow lawn
I use the nutsedge killer every year and it always works pretty well in my tall fescue lawn.
Spray them all but one at a time
I wish you’d have to have a license to buy this shit. I have a pesticide applicators license. And insurance. And credits I have renew all the time to learn how to use chemicals properly. These products are not inherently bad, but in the hand of fools can do lots and lots of harm. Please do some research before you spray yr shit like a maniac and purposely post in this community trying to rile up the haters and the professionals.
All the best of luck. Please read the labels and use these products appropriately.
The first one by Ortho did a great job on all the crabgrass, broadleaf plantains (we call them pig ears), and clover in my front yard. Took about 2 weeks to see full results.
Look at the directions. It says don’t apply in conditions higher than like 80 degrees
r/nutsedge
I won’t try to stop you, it I will encourage you to space it out and not spray it all in one day
Just make sure you do it when it’s 90+
If no-one can stop you, why are you wasting all of our time posting this?
Go ahead and spray to your hearts content.
All these chemicals are probably not going to solve the problems you’re having with your lawn. I, too, thought that spraying for this and that would give me a great lawn. It didn’t. It just cost a lot and didn’t work.
Be careful with the Weed Clear. Almost killed my entire lawn a year ago.
These actually work well if you know what you’re doing, coverage vs water pressure vs how far the bottle should cover.
For the average homeowner with a few thousand sq ft is what they are best suited for.
I’ve only ever used them on Bermuda or Zoysia grass, no cool season turfs.
I typically use the Spectracide brand, I’ve used the Image brand on Mondo grass that was covered in broadleaf weeds and it nuked all the weeds and didn’t harm the mondo at all, saved literally 10 man hours of hand pulling. It was the image that’s safe for mondo, they have a couple different types
Anyone else not have any success with these types of bottles? The product basically never leaves the bottle for me. I can spray and spray and use almost no herbicide.
Thats a really bad idea, while each individual one won’t hurt your lawn if applied properly mixing them all together and bombing your yard will likely shock and mess up your grass. Ontop of that a lot of those probably have repeat chemicals ie triclopyr or 2-4d and over applying chemicals to your yard is bad for it. In addition to this its also been pretty hot and a lot of those chemicals recommend not applying above a certain temp, aside from the effect they’d have on your yard i wouldn’t be surprised if their where health effects too so please mind the warnings and read the labels to know how to apply it and not murder your lawn
We have a grasspad. You can find the exact same thing in Amazon
Make sure to spray when it’s hot and don’t wear a mask, for maximum effectiveness
Just don’t use Gordon’s from tractor supply. Complete trash and kills everything
🤮🤮🤮
Unless you overseed with pure crabgrass then I wouldn’t ever do this
