  1. Do the insects just dissolve on the surface of the plant? Curious how it eats

Never seen one of those, how do you take care of it ?

That kid is gonna have weight issues.

  4. You need to sort out the source of these gnats vs. just feeding the plant. I bet you can’t open your phone at night without it getting swarmed.

Pinguicula and sundews are the hardest workers in the greenhouse 💪🏻

Could I plant this in a pot of a larger plant. At the base in the same soil? This looks way better than the yellow butterfly stickers. I’m getting excited at this idea

My pitcher plant is chock full of soil gnats, I love it! And it does too, it just put out a second flower.

I tried a butterwort, but I killed it almost immediately. Idk what happened, I’d like to try again.

If anyone wants the ultimate gnat destroyer pinguicula, get the Pinguicula Gigantea.

They prop like easy too, you just rip a leaf off and stick it somewhere and it’ll grow a baby.

I want a pitcher plant for this very reason. I’d love to do a ping rock some day too. They’re so cool.

This is what mine look like! They’re incredible! Really easy to propagate too

I have one too. Its such a nice plant to have. When they are happy the grow a single pink flower, which is a nice bonus
