I love native asters! It’s just so hard to identify them because so many look so similar. I have aromatic and New England growing now and will plant more next year. Yours are beautiful.

  4. Where do I get these?? I have since mums that came with the house that I need to get rid of

What type and how did you get them to bloom so amazingly? Do you use a specific fertilizer or compost regimen? Or pruning?

Wow, you’ve got asters already blooming? Lucky!!

I have Short’s asters that look just like this and make a nice, relatively low-growing clump in my dry shade garden. Beautiful!

These attract so many butterflies and bees. I love them.

Funny, my New Englands are already blooming too, but not like this!

Where the heck are you that your asters are already blooming?! Mine never do until about 10 seconds before frost and I hate the wait lol

  11. I planted these a few years ago and the bunnies ate them all. 😭
