Have you searched using easyscape? I dont think it’s comprehensive but I’ve been using it a ton to plan my landscaping.

Is it full shade throughout the whole day or is there somewhat a time in day when there might be light?

I’m in Zone 5b and I’ve put hostas in a shittier location with crap soil & they are doing ok with minimal intervention past the initial few weeks, in your location they’d probably do really well.

My shade area has ebony spleenwort , wild ginger, heartleaf foamflower, wild blue phlox, bloodroot and other things. Virginia bluebells too, but those go dormant so they disappear for much of the year.
