Just started getting into plants and looking to learn more about my plants. I repotted it and fertilized it recently but noticed this interesting growth. Does he have a condition? 😂

I water when top soil is dry and it sits like a foot away from north west facing window

Nope he’s perfectly happy and healthy, that’s a baby spider plant forming!

  2. Congrats! Your spider plant is pregnant.
If you let it grow, it will grow into a new spider plant and if it’s big enough you can remove it and put it into its own pot and give it to a friend 🙂

thats why they call it a spider plant, growing a baby plant.

That’s going to turn into a long shoot with a baby spider plant hanging off of it. You can eventually separate the baby or just leave it hanging off the mother plant.
