This year’s Amazon Prime Day sale is in full swing, with discounts galore in the online retail giant’s biggest sale yet. But it’s not the only huge shopping event on this week – over on the high street Argos has launched its huge Summer Sale, with up to 50% off everything from home appliances and kids’ toys to garden furniture.
One favourite hand-picked by our shopping experts is the Habitat Kora Rattan Effect Garden Egg Chair, which is now £160 reduced from £200 after having 20% knocked off its price tag. Made with an on-trend curved frame perfect for cosying up in with stylish rattan details, Argos describes the chair as a “modern rustic touch” that belongs on any patio, terrace or garden.
Also suited for indoor use, it comes with four “super soft” cushions ideal for sinking into with a book or a cold drink in the sunshine. Available in black as well as grey, the chair has earned an average rating of 4.6 out of five stars from Argos shoppers, with 96% of those who left a review saying they would recommend it to others.
One person praised: “Absolutely fantastic! Have wanted this chair for a long time so glad I bought it. It looks great, a lovely colour with lovely puffy cushions. It’s well made, sturdy and was very easy to assemble. It’s so comfortable. I have it in the garden and been sitting in it since.”
Another agreed: “It really is a lovely chair for inside the house and out. I bought this for the garden once it warms up a bit. I feel it is very good value for money, easy to put together. Also it is very well made.”
