I think it’s a black rose aeonium, it’s got roots so I don’t see why it wouldn’t grow it planted back in soil. The shock might cause it to die but it’s worth a shot.

San Diego! (Attorney ad gave it away) you should be able to replant it fine it still has roots. It’s hot now so these guys go dormant around this time of year. It will pick up growing in a few months when it cools off.

I think it’ll grow back, but you should keep an eye on it maybe even in a pot so it can develop roots.if the main trunk dosent make it you can always take cuttings of the branches and then root them in soil that way, good luck!

This is one of those plants that are hard to kill, except perhaps if you overwater it severely in a pot?
Plant it back in the ground, and if you want cut the other branches leaving only one and stick them in the ground to make new plants.

If it grows back is he just going to come back and rip it out again? Maybe planting it in a safer area or keeping a prop just in case would be a good idea.

It’ll be fine just dig a hole about 6 feet down pop the grabby hands in there and put the pretty goth plant back on top.
Vohasiiv
Dig a hole, and stick it right back in. It will be perfectly fine
