I have killed a lot of plants (not on purpose) but I'm trying to turn over a new leaf. Starting with my lovely new lemon balm plant! Shortly after I first got it I noticed some browning on the leaves and it wasn't really growing. I thought I was under watering it at first but then realized I was over watering it. Cut back on the water and I've got some lovely growth but still browning of the leaves. The person I got this from said it needs lots of sun but I'm not sure exactly how to achieve that or how accurate that it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Lemon balm are not well suited to being indoor plants. Put it outside!

If you’re an indoor gardener recommend starting with a houseplant. Houseplant gardening is pretty different from gardening outside, the soil and watering requirements are quite different. A ZZ plant or snake plant would be low maintenance options. Just make sure they dry out between waterings, which could be weeks.

Don’t put it outside in full sun though it’s you’ll kill it. A couple of hours of sun in the morning for a couple of weeks. That’s all. Not afternoon sun. Also when you or something in the sun or will dry out so you will need to water it.

It looks like it wants more light. More light means it can process more water.
