hey there I’m Casey welcome to my garden in Tampa zone 10A in this video I’m going to take you on a quick tour of our nursery Food Forest Spines ahead of our big plant sale on Saturday June 21st from 9 to 5 everything in our nursery has been propagated with love out of our own garden Gonza Gardens and is known to thrive here in Tampa Florida whether you’re just getting started or you’re deep into your food forest journey we’ve got a huge selection of edible and beautiful plants that are priced to move and ready to thrive in your garden check it out so welcome to our nursery i’ll have signs up but this is just a few days to show you what’s going on so it’s right next to where the park entrance is and you just come down the driveway and this driveway is a circle so you go to the left we put some parking here along these mangoes but this is not like first dibs parking but there’s some parking here like maybe two cars i’m going to put pink string across there so there’s about two or three more parking spots right here but the nursery is right back here under the oak hammocks so in front of the house there’s about four cars parking and then there’s one over here as well there’s two ways you could enter the nursery we’ll put tents up but there’s one right here but this is the main entrance walking in through under the surname cherries there’s a rose apple there’s wampy up there there’s a bunch of mature citrus and starf fruits and cinnamon and then you reach our beautiful nursery so there are some ornamentals on the outside the fruit trees are on the inside and there are some herbs on the back side these are some perennial greens and then back there behind the bamboo are some shade loving plants so I’ll show you some of the things that we have so we’ve got coffee mountain sour sop these are regular sour sop seedlings there’s chaya there’s both the broad leaf and the maple leaf we’ve got katuk south sea salad tree we have chief kubo and um kiko’s crump we have three different varieties of sugar cane um the prices are going to be adjusted these are an old sale price i think we slashed our prices so if you look at the prices they might fluctuate if you’re watching the video and want to come on Saturday to our plant sale but there’s black red and green sugarce y’all look really good let’s go down here to some of the shade plants and we’re just trying to clean up for the plant sale so first we have some Okinawa spinach then some longevity spinach and monstera these are all shampoo ginger some of those are the three gallons those are the second year in a pot so they should put up their cones this year we’ve got aloe all of these are red gangle and then some just edible ginger then on this side the bamboo is pushing the pallets up we’ve got some taro miracle fruit seedlings this is Baldwin’s Cana of Edgulus it’s really pretty has a red flower we’ve got root beer plant makes delicious teas and you can wrap your meat in it it tastes delicious we’ve got two different types of cassava we have Shan’s yellow as well as the regular one and we’ve got lots of perennial cucumber or tendora there’s some that have cucumbers already on them and then we’ve got some goji berry on the other side of these bananas we’ve got society garlic these are cranberry hibiscus we just uppotted some African potato mint these are Cape Gooseberry i don’t have a sign for that yet we’ve got some long pepper you want to grow your own pepper and oh there’s rosemary Cuban oregano these are all blackberry jam fruit give you a fruit that tastes like blackberry jam inside of it i don’t have them on the floor right now cuz they’re in they’re somewhere else cuz the rabbits were eating them it’s passion fruit and blue pea vine so those are still coming out and then we have peanut butter fruit i need that tag we’ve got citroronella grass which is different than lemongrass it has the citronanella oil in it so it smells like citroronella versus just the stem lemongrass these are a holy Thai basil hybrid these two are a Thai basil this row are columnar basil all of these are African blue basil and all these are brand new holy basil in these rows we have Florida cranberry it’s also called sorrel you could see it’s even making some of the kixes we have them in red and white this is miracle leaf it is really a miracle you can smash these leaves up and they treat pretty much any skin condition and there’s a bunch of other medicinal uses of miracle leaf uh we have three different kinds of pineapple in there we’ve got perennial tropical limema beans these live for a few years and give you these very nice limema beans of course then we have moringa and then black pigeon pee up there are more um mulberries these are neem trees where you get neem oil these are elderberry now we’re get some of the ornamentals this is the yellow walking iris and they’re flowering then we have some fire spike there are red fire spike as well as pink these are sky vine these are all from my garden this is the butterfly vine it’s also called an orchid flower vine um seed pods look like butterflies it’s really cool then we have the blue porter weed this is good for making teas could also eat the flowers there’s the Florida native red sage sweet almond this is my favorite smelling flower in the garden i call this fireball mow but it’s called also called flowering maple we brought those over some variegated blood leaf got those all in one gallons we brought over some Brazilian bellflower these need a tag this is iawasa we’ve got cestrum the tahesian hat has the pink and purple flowers then we have the Tropicana red cana these are the Chinese perfume has the most fragrant flowers my second favorite smell in the garden this is a white chocolate jasmine another top smelling flower in the garden and then the amistad salvia in the center of the nursery this is our last section these are the fruit trees our nursery focuses on the nonf fruit trees it’s food forest vines where you can find all of your food forest items but we propagate some of our fruit trees and we’re starting to build that out so these ones are gin berry they make a little berry that tastes like gin these are all of the mulberries so these are Shangrila in three gallon all of these are Pakistan in one gallon there’s some Pakistan in three gallon these are world’s best in one gallon and then three gallon all of these are are grafted white sapot aerial grafted i think there’s like six Campbell and maybe two smathers and there’s some sel at the house still on its way over these are canistell seedlings we have not grafted those yet spanish lime seedlings same thing they’re not grafted and wampy seedlings there’s also two threegon wampy air layers this is a star apple or kyito this is the epolito variety it’s really good um that is um kambuka these are avocados these are Ronnie’s ariel grafted them it’s a late seasoner late season there is a Gner atoya those are in three gallons we have a papaya these are Vietnamese pomegranates we’ve got them in three gallon and one gallon we’ve got a bunch of the Jamaican cherries or strawberry trees in one gallon these are figs violet day bordeaux we’ve got some sherbet berry it’s also called falsa this is senna alada or cassia this is really good to have in the food forest it brings in the sulfur butterflies and you can also use its leaves for any skin fungal problem gets rid of it these are Barbados cherries those are cutings from our garden so they’re sexually mature and they will fruit cuz they’re not seedlings and then we have two three gallons in the back and then there are I think three three gallon tropic pink guava there are some sugar apples sour saps and then bananas so we’ve got dwarf Cavendish and then one Namwa so this is our labor of love this is our nursery Food Forest Vines it’s located by Eureka Springs Park whenever you’re done shopping for some edible plants I definitely encourage you to go across the street to the park it is one of the most beautiful parks in the county I must say if there’s anything that you’re looking for that you don’t see in this video or in our
