Found a free 40 gallon tank that needs a reseal. Thought it would fit normally on my wire shelving unit and intended to use it for my humidity loving plants…. but thats 36" wide total, not 36 between the uprights.
It does however fit on my spare end table in the upright position….
I gotta make a proper terrarium out of it now, dont I? Rock wall, flowing water, tiny cabin by the water…

I mean you could still just add some shelves to it and use it for the plants like that.
Personally I’ve been scared off flowing water/plumbing in terrariums. For me it often seems like a hassle, figuring out how it flows and keeping the water filtered/clean. For mine I just have some the Exo Terra Monsoon II for misting plus a fake bottom to retain humidity.
Either way is fine I assume, hope you figure out a way. Do you intend do cut/drill the glass at places? Where is it even open right now?
