Hi all! does anyone know what’s going on with my Florida Ghost? The leaves used to be minty/white and now are becoming more green / solid colored rather than that minty look. Is this normal, or is this a sign of reverting if they do that?
I have it growing on a moss pole, outside on my back patio, in bright shaded light.
Is there anything I can do to bring back those minty white colors, or is it reverting?

With a ghost new leaves emerge white, the as they age fade to minty then eventually deep green. As long as new ones are coming out white, not reverting, just doing it’s ghostly thing.

Heat and lighting determines what color they come out

I have my ghost under a grow light and her leaves have been coming out consistently white/green , maybe try that?

  4. I would try more light, but I’m not sure that’s the issue. Mine started doing that and suddenly leaves started coming out pretty white again. I did move houses though, and now it is getting more light (it gets a couple of hours of direct sunlight in the very early morning), but it’s not like it used to get little light before.

Sooooo they pop with color in the winter months. From December to March for me.

They’ve done this for years now. I grow a good amount of them.

You can set a clock to it.

So nobody has mentioned this yet but it could have just reverted. That is possible.
