This H. Atrofusca was recently moved from a spot with 2,000 lux to this one with 8,000 lux of artificial light. Would you water more often if the leaves started to shrivel?

According to your numbers, you’re giving it 4x the light as before.  Did you transition it suddenly or gradually?  If suddenly, I’d back off the stronger light for a while and water normally.

Another thing that matters is whether the root system is strong enough for the plant to handle the stronger light.  If not, then watering more in the stressed condition might rot some roots, increasing the plant’s stress.

Last, how sure are you about your numbers?  I grow most of mine at 10,000 lux which is low by many people’s standards.  Your plant looks too shapely to me for 2000 lux.  Edit: Maybe you have 2000/8000 lux plus some sunlight?
