Both are basil brought from farmers market and later grew the roots in water and then planted.
Location: Toronto
Placed the plant in north balcony, gets decent direct light from 6 am to 8pm.
I water spray it daily morning and a little spoonful water in the soil.

Hydroponic seedlings often don’t do well transplanted in soil.

I’d suspect you didn’t disturb the rootball when planting it. It doesn’t know it has room to grow now.

This pot should be full next time you plant it.

Watering with spray or spoonfuls is wild bro. Plants need a deep drink of water. Saturate the soil every other day, or daily in high temps.

Just start over with some basil seeds.
