FALLS, LUZERNE CO. (WOLF) — A garden made with the labor of love was planted on Sunday at Endless Mountains Vinyards.

Every first Sunday of the month, volunteers travel to the vineyard to work on “The Healing Garden” – a space where the community can honor those who have passed, grieve together and experience nature through workshops and yoga.

“It’s one thing to talk about your grieving process in a one-on-one counseling session. It is a very different process with a sense of community and a support system doing a physical activity with art and nature where you can transmute that grief,” said Dannielle Bennett, Owner and Therapist for Connected Fungirl Wellness.

Also part of the garden will be a memorial pathway, where members of the community can engrave bricks of their loved ones, and a rainbow bridge to honor pets who have passed.

The Vinyard is currently looking for donations of dirt, plants, trees and gardening tools, and their next gardening event will be held next month, where they will lay the first batch of bricks.
