It's my first terrarium, about a year old. The moistute level was perfect,i didnt need to water it at all. And now I have this happening. I didn't anticipate how challenging the very narrow neck would be. I've made 5 other terrariums since then, all with nice wide openings. The plants love it in there, one is even flowering 😄 Any hints to get in better shape appreciated, thanks!!

  1. A rag tied around a metal coat hanger lol.
I bend the hanger to reach places I can’t.
Edit: try not to scratch the glass!

What a great way to use a carboy! I’ve been wanting to try something like this.

I’ve heard of people using a razor attached to a stick to prune, and one of those extensible claw nail-picker upper thingys to remove the trimmings. 🤷🏻

  4. See if you can buy springtails. They eat mold/ mildew/ decaying leaves etc. I had a similar problem and they cleaned up the tank in a few days.
