[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] well good morning Well if you guys don’t know we’re getting our front landscaping done today at our house Dream come true So freaking excited So freaking grateful It’s one thing to build a barn It’s one thing to build a house It’s another thing to actually pay for your front landscaping because I don’t know about you guys but as a homeowner you’re supposed to leave a couple bucks in the bank like 5 10 15% for the landscaping to the value of the home Well I don’t know if we’re doing that much but uh I long story short didn’t exactly leave all the money in the bank I was bu busy building the barn and busy building the house so I didn’t really have a ton of left over to do it last fall Probably recharge recharge the bank account a little bit over fall and winter Having a good spring throwing down big time for the front landscaping Very very excited about that Troy’s team is doing big things and they’re doing all of our hardscaping and then I’m going to back fill with plants uh some irrigation work So I’m really excited about that Let me take you guys on a little tour of what they got going on Here you go So I’m going to be honest with you guys I don’t even know everything that I ordered I just told them what I’d like and what it looks like and they’re doing the rest So a lot of you guys know Troy I’ve done a lot of uh sub work for Troy with Snow At least some sub work for Snow I wouldn’t say a lot but some sub work for Troy for Snow And uh now I get to spend even more money with Troy Right Here you go That is awesome [Music] So Jesus uh seems like the construction manager over here Uh we got to see William if you guys remember him He was here last vlog about a week ago Uh there’s Angel There’s There’s a bunch of great guys here I forget everybody’s name I I apologize They got Hispanic names obviously So not that good with my Hispanic names just yet Anyway let’s see what else these guys got going on All right there you go Here we go So one thing I’ll say is uh Jesus dude he’s awesome You can just tell he’s awesome I know he’s one of Troy’s uh long-term guys And uh it’s funny while we’re just getting this thing going the last couple days or today this morning he’s introducing me to everybody telling me the plan just making me feel at ease right Like that goes a long way as a homeowner especially when you’re dropping you know big money you know big enough money and uh he’s like “If you need anything just ask We’ll shut down everything and uh we’ll help you We’ll help you understand.” That goes a long way So it’s funny like I’m twofold here One I’m a business owner right Like seeing how the big guys do it with Troy And then the other side of him is I’m a customer So I’m always like “Hey what’s going on here How much is that going to cost?” Right So it’s uh back and forth between being a business owner and customer today So far I’m enjoying both experiences Right So let me show you the rest of their equipment now that there’s not as loud uh moving noise over here But uh Troy’s got just a Frankenstein fleet of everything man He’s got every kind of truck and trailer setup that you guys can imagine If they don’t have it they’ll fabricate it right He’s got an incredible team like that Little boo boo there Nobody’s perfect right That’s been weathered but uh hopefully they don’t mind me peeping Look at this storage box Toolbox That’s kind of cool Welded on That’s good stuff And then uh they’ve got a lot of these like steak dumps which is awesome So there you go Well hopefully you guys are enjoying the video Uh if so big thumbs up Takes a lot of time to shoot these and edit these In fact Liz and I have to go to a baby appointment here in about 20 minutes After that I got an 11:00 a.m with my friend Steven Bennett with LMN to start getting my snow contracts and snow templates and estimates ready to go So never a dull moment Uh still got to be a business owner Our guys already rocking and rolling this morning too which is nice And I don’t know if it can translate through the weather just yet but dude it’s already probably like 83 this morning It’s going to be a 90°ree day today and tomorrow So got to love those hot mornings and hot days All right We’ll check back in soon [Music] All right Well it’s been about a whopping half hour Let’s see where these guys are at They’re moving quick I’ll tell you that Big spoil pile That is awesome Digging all this out Looking good Looking good They got the pink line here already cut Bada bing bada boom Look at that There you That’s a throwback dude Holy cow This has been I’ll tell you what the most ridiculous 24 month journey of my life I mean seriously like holy cow There you go All right so he’s coming up and down the driveway Looking good [Applause] [Music] All right guys as well It’s a couple hours later and look at all of this Holy cow Rocking and rolling Look at all this We got all the uh pipes This is going to be for all the down spouts They cleaned all this out Guys are doing lunch so I’m trying to stay away But uh look at this Boom That is awesome It is going in folks It’s going in I love it These are the steps here By the way I asked the the guys if we could save these We’re going to go put these on the rear porch Had our carpenter uh put these together for a quick little last minute just to uh you know pass code and get get us able to move on in Those are up there So we’re going to go put those in the backyard And then here’s our natural stone Sweet There you go These guys are moving though man I’m telling you what they’re doing a great job Pretty sweet I got to water the flowers too for the wife Can’t have those dying But there you go Here’s all the way from the down spout right They cleaned all this out Dang these guys are awesome And this is where we’re basically taking to it right now So we’re just squirting it off right here And then later we’ll do the backyard and all that mess but I got to save some pennies for all that But there you go Looking good looking good And again super commend the guys man It is uh almost 90° today so they’re sweating it out but good team of guys man All right guys Well nice little update and checkin here Let’s see where these guys are at so far We’ve got the pink paint going down Not sure how well it’s showing on camera I’ll try to get this best I can for you guys But look at that man Look at that This is huge Holy cow Check it out So here’s the sight line so you guys can actually see or the uh the guidelines So that way it’s going to kind of contour to the front And then we’ll have an extra little walking path here right That goes to the family entry So there you go Wa Look at that We already got steps Holy cow That’s awesome These guys are working quick man I’m telling you what I love it And here’s that platinum Awesome Here’s our natural uh edge stone that we’re going with This looks incredible Holy cow I’m so freaking fantastic Holy cow We’re trenching We’re trenching Look at all this Wow [Music] All right So here we go These are some of the trenches for the down spouts Look at that Beautiful Oh that’s awesome [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] What up guys All right Well it is a couple of hours later It is actually a little bit more towards 700 p.m We had the entire crew here wrap up And let me show you what they’ve done so far First things first do me a big solid Leave an encouraging word down below for the Troy Clog team These guys did awesome All right big thumbs up on the video Let’s check this out So here is what we’ve got going on so far So I don’t know about all of this stuff Uh you know I’m not going to pretend like I’m a hardcaper but we’ve got these huge uh steps that are going in which I’m super pumped up about We’ve got the natural stone that’s going to go around the edges I believe we’ve got the whole walkway is going to come straight through here right Like I talked about uh on the beginning of the video And look at all this so far Holy cow I had about five guys I think here today And man they they moved quick And it was 90° today I’m telling you what these guys did big things So this is going to drain on down And then I think it’s going to connect with this one These are going to go this way And then this is going to go out to the front yard here So you can see everything’s coming together Uh this black uh flex pipe is just here for a quick second So these guys already knocked all this out which looks awesome We’ve got some top soil on the way We’ll have some uh some beds and then they excavated all this down probably good 6 in So this is awesome Here’s that trench By the way they had a uh a trenching uh attachment on the dingo Look at this man This is a good 18 in And then they’ve got these little basins down here So there you go There’s their uh pipe that’s underground And one other quick thing I’ll show you before I go to the back of the yard or the side is they graded all this out So they cleaned up a lot of this for me And uh holy cow they did 10 times better with that dingo than I was able to do with my little Bobcat machine So they they graded this out like perfectly Holy cow That’s what happens when you got the professionals right So that’s that They’ve got uh one more pile of top soil one more of base and uh here’s the highway So we’re going to clean this up after No big deal But man let me know what you guys think I’m really excited I’m kind of anxious kind of nervous not gonna lie Like I’m spending a lot of money I’ve never been this far in my life never done this you know and uh very very cool to see all this coming together So we’ve got a couple block here pieces of block some pavers right And uh I I don’t even know what I’m getting I told Dustin right Dustin’s our architect and uh forgive me but I told Dustin our architect I said or Clog’s architect I said “Dude just build me something dope Like here’s what we like.” We gave him a couple photos couple cataloges Said just design something cool He showed us a couple plans I said “Sure sounds good.” Um one thing candidly like and Liz and I were actually talking about this on the way to a baby appointment this morning I like have spent 20 years to get this far And now that I’m like kind of here I almost like this sounds terrible but I almost like don’t care Like I almost don’t care how every little jot until thing looks I’m like “Hey man what do you think Hey what do you decide something that’s cool?” Like I don’t know if I’m just different phase of my life or I’m just focused on growth or just more like focused on family and and my guys or or what but I used to think when I got to this far I’m like I want to know every brick and every detail And now that I’m this far I’m like no man just whatever You do your thing And they they they ask me a half dozen times today what do you think Like thumbs up I’m like always thumbs up Like dude everything here is thumbs up Are you kidding me So I don’t know if that relates to anybody else out there but I used to be like every detail on my trucks every detail And now I’m like nah we need 10 trucks Let’s go And uh I don’t know if that like takes some joy away of the the the higher levels of building a business or or uh you just find joy in different things which is probably the truth but uh yeah I candy moment there So let me pan this around really quick I got to water Liz’s flowers So they were able to take all this out clean and scrape all this back again Here’s those down spouts all the irrigation or the the conduit I should say whatever you call this all the way down down to a a much larger pipe because we have a couple more down spouts uh tying into that I can’t I can’t even tell you how impressed I am with these guys Uh unfortunately we did hit the Comcast line right Uh nobody’s without sin right Uh so things happen Comcast is already coming back out tomorrow Here’s one of the basins uh in the ground already uh you know graded out Looks pretty good This is a pipe all the way down right through here And hopefully this will solve a lot more of our irrigation issues or uh I should say the the water shutting off the roof right And push it another 30 ft Maybe help our sump pump out a little bit too right So there you go Got to tell you very very proud of these guys uh world-class team that I believe and that I know And one thing that was really impressive to me is around the bend I’ve got about 300 ft of hose about 100 plus feet of uh 240 or 220 uh extension cord power lines and they wrapped it all up They they just take the whole pile and drag it out of the growing grass and weeds area over here They took it out they curled it up and they stacked it on my back porch Like is that cool or what So attention to detail being world class and first class I’m getting the uh customer experience here with TCLA And so far 10 out of 10 All right man Well I am walking and I’m already out of breath It’s because it is like 90° out right now even at 7 o’clock at night here And it feels like you’re talking through a wet cloth right So look at my graded dirt This looks just beautiful I’m so happy Hopefully you guys saw some of those rental vlogs that I did the last couple days But all right that’s what I got for you guys on today’s video Uh this is part one Uh the next day they’re going to be doing all the uh edging finishing up all the trenching and I think on day three or four uh all the pavers going to go in and I’m really hoping to catch up with all that And uh Thursday I’m actually going to be at Simma but so I won’t be here So I’m hoping they don’t do the pavers that day but I hope that they do them on Friday So all right over
