‘The Enchanted Garden’ invites families to don their best costumes and explore hidden secrets among the flowers during a two-day event

Magic will be in the air at the Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) this month as The Enchanted Garden returns to transform the Rock Gardens into a family-friendly adventure on Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13.

The event, which is intended for families with children between 4 and 7 years old, will take groups through the gardens that will be filled with secrets for attendees to find, such as fairies hiding in the flowers and gnomes guarding secret paths.

Along the way, children can take part in creating a bath for bees and pollinators, searching for the gnomes’ hidden homes, solving an elf’s riddles and more.

Visitors can also enjoy fairy tales that are told every hour from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and bubble shows taking place at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to show up in their best fantasy costumes.

Tickets to The Enchanted Garden cost $20 per attendee, with children 2 years old or younger being able to enter for free but still requiring registration. The RBG Rock Gardens are located at 1185 York Blvd.
