It took me way longer than I care to admit, but the entire front yard got a facelift, and my hands were killing me after pulling all those weeds! We’re finally down to the basics, and the real fun can begin with design changes!

  1. Usually love gardening videos and just came across your channel. Have to say, won't be subscribing as hated seeing perfectly healthy, beautiful trees being cut down.

  2. Thick plastic (not yard fabric) around your bushes and mulch on top. It’s the only way to kill those weeds. Afterwards you can increase the bushiness by planting similar to what you already have. Density will help.

  3. Why did you cut down all those trees in your backyard? Just curious, they looked healthy. Great job on the front yard weeds!

  4. Put down a weed barrier to keep the weeds from coming back, then plant your groundcover, and lastly, add the small rock that you want. It should be a big improvement.

  5. Impressive! Good job!🙂
The relatively large landscape rocks are a bit overwhelming for the size of yard.
A pebble edge outline of your yard of a color to complement your building would be my suggestion, the rest mostly grass and a few flowers spaced out along the pebble edge outline might make for easy maintenance.
