It’s pokeweed. I have two MASSIVE ones on the other side of my fence I leave up. Animals love the berries, they are kinda pretty of you squint the right way, and the long tube branches harbor SO many critters all winter.

I actually leave my pokeweed in a few spots because it has such a cool prehistoric look and then I get to watch the birds enjoy the berries!

as others have said, def pokeweed. it’s a beneficial native so leave some where you reasonably can, but yeah they do grow large and grow a MASSIVE taproot, so the earlier you pull them from spots they’re unwanted, the better. don’t ask me how i know 😭
