I usually make terrariums out of small glass or acrylic vessels but I have a number of larger terrariums I’d like to refill (pictured).
I had a difficult time utilizing the space on my first go. I don’t want to foam or silicone anything right now, so how else can I fill the space?
Can you please share your terrariums:
– that do NOT use foam or silicone (just glass)
– where you used full sized plants
Thank you!

I like to add pieces of cork bark, large rocks, and gradient the terrain upward toward the back to create depth, fill the space and give the plants more substrate to root into.

Mine is pretty barren at the moment I mainly have moss and 4 smaller plants living in it. I tried to space them out so ur eyes could follow all around the tank instead of just one area.
As a matter of aesthetics, you should have a foreground, midground and background. Put taller things in the back and start working on a smaller scale with mosses and smaller plants. The rock wall on the left one should have epiphytic greenery. Stuff like that.
