This is how I get a bunch of my plants! Your parents are being dramatic but if I do ever go missing it’s like a 80% chance it was because of FB marketplace
When i have to sell some of my plants to add more, I sometimes wonder if people think I’m a crazy person or something 😅, specially when I don’t over price my plants since I sell them out of my collection to make space for new ones 😂
I buy/sell plants all the time on FB market lol.
I buy/sell on FB marketplace regularly. If it’s convenient meet in a public space with lots of foot traffic OR meet at a police station. Should give your parents a bit of peace of mind
I left FB buy i miss buying plants on Market Place. I’ve had some real gem there!
I feel like if there were a “Craigslist killer” situation, one of the last things they’d be trying to sell is plants. But maybe that’ll be how I die one day. “Woman drives to outskirts of town to buy plant, turns up dead and holding monstera leaves.”

i wish some of the people i had bought from / sold to had been serial killers. At least serial killers are on time, make sure they know where they are going, and dont park 4 fucking blocks away.
Don’t feel bad when living in a BFE town in Texas I’d meet up behind the towns grocery store and trade/ sell chickens. 🤷.
Which is really funny because they’re always the ones saying “We drank water from the hose and rode around in the back of pickup trucks when we were kids and we were fine!”
Oh yeah, everybody’s too soft these days but they can’t even engage in commerce with another human being 🙄
Later on they’ll be telling you about the great deal they got on a used Peleton from three cigar-smoking raccoons in a trenchcoat down a back alley somewhere

I’m willing to go to people’s houses to get plants. I always meet in a public place for anything I buy, though, unless it’s too heavy/bulky to move there.
In a non-planty context, they have a point 😂
Planty deals are always done this way tho
It’s actually the people that sell your stuff on marketplace without your knowledge that you should worry about
I meet in front of police departments in whatever town is halfway
