Mercedes Valentine stuns fans with an upside-down gardening stunt, turning herself into a “human sprinkler” after surviving a near-fatal crash last year.
Mercedes Valentine went viral for her hose video.
Mercedes Valentine, 25, has found an inventive way to beat the heat and keep her plants hydrated, all while performing a gravity-defying yoga move. The Brighton-based model and former athlete showed off her signature flexibility in a new Instagram video, using her foot to hold a hose as she balanced upside down in a handstand.
The clip, shared with her 290,000 Instagram followers under the handle @mercedesthedancerxo, has already racked up more than 50,000 views and hundreds of cheeky comments. Fans were quick to crown her the “sexiest sprinkler” on the internet, with one viewer writing: “Now that’s the kind of fountain I need.”
Others joked about hiring her for landscaping duties. “I need my garden doing,” one user quipped. Another added: “Too funny — can you wash my windows too?”

After soaking her flowers, Mercedes ended the performance by hosing herself down to cool off, sparking even more admiration from viewers. One follower commented: “How to make gardening better: simply look amazing doing it.”
Mercedes Valentine went viral for her summer video.
Her unconventional sprinkler stunt is just the latest chapter in a story defined by grit. Last year, Mercedes survived a horrific bike crash triggered by a swooping pigeon.
She was thrown 260 feet along a street, sustaining multiple injuries, including a shattered pelvis, broken ribs, a skull fracture, and a smashed eye socket.
Doctors performed emergency surgery, fitting her with metal pins and plates that she still carries today.
“I’ve had to start living as a different person,” Mercedes said.
“It’s been really confusing and emotionally challenging to come to terms with. I’m basically half metal now.”
Despite the trauma and long recovery, Mercedes, who previously trained in boxing and pole dancing, fought her way back to fitness.
She credits her athletic past with helping her rebuild strength and reclaim confidence.
Now, with summer in full swing, she’s finding joy in playful moments like these.
