    Can carrot foliage be trimmed or will that adversely affect the roots? I interplanted carrots and onions this year and it was a huge mistake. My carrots have completely shaded out my onions and I don't think I'm going to get onion bulbs at all.

    Hey Gary, I also live in Maryland. Have you had any issues with Spotted lantern fly nymphs on your veggies? I've been vacuuming them up left and right.

    I love cylinder drop beets. Algorithm every year and the great for panning perfect for a pint jar.

    Thanks for the video. One of my indeterminate tomatoes suddenly died, so I can easily slot in a determinate and still get a harvest this season.

    Do you remove mulch when you “tuck” seeds in existing garden space and leave it off where you plant til it comes up?

    I have done seeds of PrikCHiFaa chilli, end of May, germinated after 10 days. Weather here is unpredictable. Now we have up to 38 C. A week before only 23 C. Tomorrow back to 23 again. They are doing well so far, but i wonder if they wiil be able to grow to height and maybe produce some fruits. I do not think so, but till end of August, still two months to go.

    I'm happy that you are zone 7, I'm zone 7a. Your channel is most helpful for me to follow, so I don't have to think hard about adjusting what you are doing. I know that you experiment some 😊, but still what you grow is most helpful for my garden expectations.

    You sold me on the garden tower. I've seen them in your videos throughout the years, and they seem very useful. I got it in the rusted garden red color for that reason. Probably going to make it a pollinator/herb tower.

    My cucumbers this year have been just completely stalled – I'm on my third batch and finally growing nicely. We've had some wild up and down weather here in Philly suburbs (7a). Was coldest June on record, then flash floods, then 3 days of 100+…

    There's no almanac for that! Haha
