  1. Hi. I love your videos. I have family in Jersey and lived in Edison, NJ for a bit. I am in Colorado but am a Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn girl (62 yr. girl, lol) Brooklyn in the House. Thanks for all the gardening tips and memories of home. Find an Italian bakery and eat one of everything for me.

  2. So so wonderful that you have met your life’s calling…. I love my veg garden, learning so much from you James. I’m on the eastern end of Long Island so my zone is 7B… try to follow your timing.

  3. I love your energy it’s so contagious! That celery looks amazing.. I’ve just put in some peppermint stick celery & can’t wait for it as I’ve had it before 😋 ❤

  4. Told my friend about carrot board trick that I learned from you. She was despairing on her yield. Then I showed my success with your trick and she was inspired and did not give up.

  6. I've been harvesting some cucumbers and had a ton of tiny ones coming in but something got to the plant, they look like they melted now, I'm assuming vine borers. Just sowed new ones last week.

  7. Having fun experimenting with direct sowing now in the summer. No problems with germination. I just planted brussel sprouts, zucchini, yellow squash, a second round of various bush beans, and honeynut squash. Going to try a pop-up shade screen for the brussel sprout plant in my square foot bed.
