The 6th annual Garden Market was held June 28 to benefit The San Diego Alzheimer’s Association’s “The Longest Day.”
The money raised at the event at Poway Sinceri Gardens will help fund research in search of a cure, organizers said.
Garden activities included a painted lady butterfly release, live music from the Heart Strings duo and a booth where participants could create bouquets from flowers donated for the event.
Participants could also create cooking spice sachets with herbs from the gardens as well as a lavender aroma bag and plant their own vegetable seedings to bring home.
